Bleed From Within: Humanity

09/07/09  ||  Kampfar

Fucking hell, is there an evil force out there making sure we here at GD, very often, get mediocre crap sent our way? I must ask, for hadn’t Mr. Philipson been friends with circa 50% of all Swedish bands doing metal, and even some abroad, we would be entirely drenched in generic nothingness by now. Be sure, we do get stinking manure not at all mediocre shipped our direction too, but, as we all know, them fuckers are a hoot to puke all over.

This is all I have to say:

Menstruating All Over’s very own “Humanity” is metal-core/melodic death spiced with a bit of blasting and a couple of heavy riffs. Zzzzz, but only almost, and sleep is denied because of an utterly irritating shit vocalist. He is not entirely asshole all the way but his main type of vocalization is so generic my ear-hair turns all grey. Then again, it’s not like he pisses all over anything at all. This bunch of cocksuckers, like oh so many before them, know how to play their instruments. And, fucking hurray, they also coupled up with a producer owning a bit of talent. Other than that, they should all go fuck themselves.

This is the kind of band you dig at 14 and hopefully laugh at when 28. This is fucking mall-core alright.

2 out of 10.
